Look what I did!!!

I cooked myself a lovely lunch!!!!   yesss...regarding to my husband, evbaby, is doing his camera training today that means I, undoubtedly, had to feed myself somehow.  And because some weird reason I want to eat asparagus so badly (not peanut butter on toasts again).  So I decide to roast some vets that I have never ever done it before.  I know it might sound silly if you normally cook, not me tho.  To avoid any accidence that might happen, I had a quick look on Jamie Oliver's recipe.  Great, it looks easy enough and here we go... just mushroom topping with crunched garlic, thyme and cheese, asparagus(of course)and red pepper. Pouring unmeasured olive oil over the vet, then chuck it in the oven for 5 mins. I's having it with Parma ham & Salami. So yum and easy indeed!

big mushroom, garlic, thyme and cheese. try this at home you'll love it!

all together on the tray

it effortlessly looks good!

Finish my lovely lunch with coffee and ice-cream :)  I'm been having Columbia from Monmouth for a few weeks. It's berry-fruity taste with full-body and quite mild.  Personally, I prefer to have just americano at home coz having a latte is a nightmare, unless you have a good machine, which I can't afford right now.

  1. Delicious! The aspargus is perfect this time of year isn't it. What's the spread on your bread?

  2. it's Tesco Roasted Red pepper, which I normally never fancy it! and yes, asparagus was so delicious! I didn't peel the hard bit off tho, stupidly discovered whilst I's unsuccessfully chewing 'em. well, mr.Oliver didn't mention that in his recipe!
